Registration for the 2016 World Aquatic Health Conference in Nashville, Tenn., opens on April 1.

This year the global recreational water community will head to Nashville, Tenn., for the 13th annual World Aquatic Health™ Conference (WAHC™), which will be held Oct. 19-21.

The two-day event, which will be held at the Sheraton Music City Hotel, will offer attendees a number of networking opportunities and educational seminars covering topics such as drowning prevention, facility management, health benefits, health codes, new industry technology, advanced chemistry/disinfection byproducts (DBP), and recreational water illness (RWI) prevention. Pre- and post-conference meetings can also be expected by attendees. Numerous organizations, such as USA Swimming, Council for the Model Aquatic Health Code (CMAHC), and Water Safety USA, conduct meetings surrounding the event as conference attendees represent a convergence of the entire aquatic world, collaborating to learn and grow.

According to WAHC organizers, the event continues to set attendance records. In fact, last year’s conference welcomed attendees from 46 U.S. states and 11 different nationalities.

The National Swimming Pool Foundation® (NSPF®) is again hosting the WAHC and its conference team is in the process of preparing an education program that will target various sectors of the aquatics industry. Those interested in presenting a poster session or whitepaper are asked to submit an abstract by Jan. 31.

Attendee registration opens April 1. For more information on the conference, visit www.theWAHC.org.
