Canada’s Wonderland will showcase a new waterslide attraction in 2017 called Muskoka Plunge.
The new ride, an 18-m (60-ft) tall waterslide complex that includes four speed slides, will be added to the Vaughan, Ont.-based theme park’s 8.1 ha (20-acre) waterpark, which goes by the name Splash Works.
According to Canada’s Wonderland, riders will feel the adrenaline rush when they step into an enclosed launch chamber and suddenly plummet into a high-speed free fall through ‘S-curves’ and 360-degree loops at speeds of approximately 40 km/h (25 mph).
