Waterlines provides a summary of recent personnel announcements, including new hires, promotions, appointments, anniversaries, and accomplishments in the North American pool and hot tub industry.

Leah Williamson has been hired as vice-president of Evosus Software’s new ‘Account Management’ division, which has been created to strengthen new client relationships by providing guidance through implementation in addition to helping existing customers streamline their day-to-day procedures. Williamson, who previously owned Splash Pool & Spa in Indiana, has been working with Evosus clients for more than two years. She will lead the company’s team comprising Kimberly Marcy, Betty Smith, Emily Schmitt, Joy Meese, Adrian Amposta, and Cliff Cook.

Jason Pugh has joined RB Retail & Service Solutions as a training and software specialist. He will assist the company in meeting the training needs of its growing workforce and expanding customer base. With a Ph.D. in instructional management and leadership from Robert Morris University, Pugh joined the RB Control Systems team with more than 10 years of teaching, training, and development experience. He has experience in conducting synchronous and asynchronous trainings, and developing course materials for live and online training sessions. Pugh also has experience using instructional design and technical writing techniques for more streamlined videos and help files.


Vortex Aquatic Structures International has promoted Virginie Guilbeault to executive vice-president, a new position within the company. After joining Vortex in 2005 and most recently serving as vice-president of development, Europe/Middle East, Guilbeault is now responsible for sales and operations, including processes and tools. She will continue to manage business development strategy in Europe, the Middle East, and Quebec, and will add Asia to her portfolio. She will report to the company’s president, Stephen Hamelin.
Vortex has also promoted Louis Parent as vice-president of operations. He will oversee manufacturing, supply chain, construction, and technical and customer services. Parent will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to help meet the company’s customer experience goals.
