Water Tech, a manufacturer of battery-powered pool and hot tub vacuums, has established a series of authorized repair centres across the U.S. for the 2018 season.
Created for those brick-and-mortar dealers selling its Volt® line of vacuums, the new authorized repair centres are pre-established by Water Tech to provide warranty-related repairs to consumers at the store level, resulting in quick and convenient service for customers.
“Our brick-and-mortar dealers are our greatest asset,” said Water-Tech president, Guy Erlich. “We wanted to establish a program that allows these stores to repair warranty-related issues on-site, resulting in a quicker turnaround in repairing the unit and more client satisfaction.”
The program was established after listening to dealers who were interested in providing more value to their clients, whereby getting them into their stores as often as possible. The repair program is an effective method to bring clients into the stores, create customer loyalty, while at the same time adding value to the store.
“The typical pool season is short and reducing the downtime of their product being out of service for an extended period is important to us,” said Erlich. “Previously, customers were required to send the unit to our repair centre for warranty work, and then it was shipped back to the client.”
According to Water Tech, by establishing these authorized repair centres, the time it takes to repair a unit can be reduced to as little as a few hours at the store level.
