Brent Vogan, president and CEO of Devplex Professional Inc., which is a manufacturer of an all-natural product for the hot water market, has announced a strategic alliance with two veterans of the pool and hot tub industry, Richard Hubbard and Terence H. Sloan.
Hubbard and Sloan will be directly involved in the future marketing and sales of Spa Solution throughout Canada and global markets. This alliance looks to further the company’s goals of raising awareness for a product that makes hot water maintenance easy, offers chemically intolerant bathers a comfortable environment, and enhances the pleasures of soaking in a hot tub.
Hubbard has more than 40 years of industry experience, starting with Jacuzzi Canada Ltd., as a communications manager at a time when the brand’s hot tubs and spas were an innovation and first introduced to the Canadian market. He went on to create trade magazines for the pool and spa industry, as well as the consumer market. Hubbard also worked closely with the Canadian swimming pool and spa association, serving as executive director on two occasions and working with its U.S. counterparts. He still maintains Backyard Living Productions Ltd., a marketing and graphic arts company.
Sloan has more than 35 years experience in the pool and spa industry, serving as Canadian vice-president of Laars, Jandy, and Zodiac Pool Systems. He currently owns Rockingham International Inc., which has represented Canadian pool and spa interests throughout Europe and other world markets. He has supported the pool and spa industry through participation in the Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada (PHTCC) in a director role and also served as president. In 2012, Sloan received the PHTCC Industry Achievement award.
The Original Spa Solution is a product of Devplex Professional Inc., a Canadian company located near Barrie, Ont. It has been on the market for more than 15 years and was one of the first all-natural products to be introduced to the hot water market.
