American Dream will be opening the world’s first DreamWorks Animation Water Park later this month.
The facility will offer a variety of rides such as Shrek’s Sinkhole Slammer, Kung Fu Panda’s Temple of Awesomeness, Surf’s Up Surf Riders, and the Bubbly Lazy River. The waterpark also houses the world’s largest indoor wave pool (0.6 ha [1.5 acres]) called Far Far a Bay, which draws inspiration from Shrek‘s magical kingdom.
“We can’t wait for guests to visit the waterpark and experience the unique and inspiring destination we have created,” said American Dream’s co-CEO, Don Ghermezian.
