HASA Pool Inc., has named Terry Arko its new product training and content manager.

Arko, who has contributed several articles to Pool & Spa Marketing and is a member of the magazine’s editorial advisory committee, has been an influencer in the water treatment space for the past four decades. He will play a pivotal role for the company’s growing network of distributors, dealers, and pool service professionals.

He is a knowledgeable source regarding sodium hypochlorite water treatment protocols and is a widely respected technical strategist and educator with specific work in service, repair, retail sales, chemical manufacturing, and product development. Arko is a Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO) and Instructor, an active member of the Pool & Hot Tub Association (PHTA) Recreational Water Quality Committee (RWQC), and a voting member of the Council for the Model Aquatic Health Code (CMAHC). He also serves as an instructor for the Pool Chemistry Training Institute to certify residential pool technicians.
