The Horace E. Dodge and Son Memorial Fountain in Detroit recently underwent a complete renovation by Fountains by Water Works (FBWW).

The above-ground restoration involved removal of the stainless-steel facade, repolishing, and reinstalling. The large granite bowl that had numerous cracks were repaired, while the granite basin was reconstructed to ensure it was waterproof and safe.

The 168 outdated lights were replaced and the fountain’s three water features—the misters at the top, the upward-spraying jets in the main basin, and the downward-spraying jets—were all disassembled, reworked or replaced, and reassembled.

The entire restoration was completed in a span of three months.
