Hach/ETS, the manufacturer of AquaChek® pool and spa test strips in Elkhart, Ind., recently received International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 certification for all water testing products it manufactures.
First awarded to Hach/ETS in 1997, the ISO 9001 certification is a “public declaration that we are committed to achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction,” says Jose Salinas, the company’s business unit marketing manager.
The certification aligns with the company’s internal business system, which is also focused on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
“We measure our performance in almost everything we do, so our customers can be confident that they are getting products of the highest quality possible,” says Salinas.
ISO 9001 is a global quality management standard that businesses can use to establish and/or update its quality policy, which is closely linked to the business/marketing plan and customer needs. Independent confirmation that organizations meet ISO 9001:2008 requirements can be obtained through third party certification bodies.
