Registration for Hayward training courses now open

Hayward Pool Products Canada Inc., is offering dealers in Ontario and Quebec more than 20 different hands-on training sessions in 2014, and registration is now open.

The one-day training sessions will be held at various locations in both provinces between February and March and are geared towards builders, installers, technicians, and service centres. Ontario training sessions will cover salt chlorination equipment, advanced automation, and gas heaters, while the Quebec training sessions will discuss pool heater operation, diagnostics, and standards, as well as heater service procedures.

Training sessions are planned to be held in Oakville (at the Hayward facility) and Ottawa, as well as at the Hayward facility in Boucherville, Que. All Ontario sessions will start at 8 a.m. and run until 4:00 p.m., while the Quebec classes will start at 9 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. Those interested in participating in one or more of these training sessions are asked to sign up quickly as registration has closed for a number of the sessions.

“We are proud to announce our 2014 technical training schedule,” says Hayward Canada’s technical service manager, Jonathan Bocquet. “Our goal is to educate our partners working on our products to improve the quality of pool product installation, troubleshooting, and repairs.

“We are offering 26 hands-on training sessions in Ontario and Quebec; class sizes will be smaller to allow for a more interactive setting.”
