Seresco moves headquarters, manufacturing facilities
Seresco Technologies has moved into a larger headquarters, which will also accommodate its manufacturing and warehousing needs.

Seresco Technologies, an Ottawa-based manufacturer of indoor pool dehumidifier heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, has moved into a larger headquarters, which will also house the company’s manufacturing and warehousing needs.

The expansion enables the 12-year-old, privately held manufacturer to increase its workforce. The automated manufacturing plant will help the company increase production by adding a second shift, which will help reduce lead times for commercial dehumidifiers ranging up to 140 tons and 1982 fpm (70,000 m3/min).

“This expansion accommodates the growth that is propelling us toward the role of North American leader in dehumidification manufacturing,” said Seresco’s president, David Lucas.

According to Lucas, the company’s sales growth is driven by its Protocol NP-Series dehumidifier and its WebSentry® control system. The dehumidifier minimizes refrigerant liabilities such as leaks, high installation costs, and rising prices by substituting refrigerant with glycol for heat rejection to dry coolers, while the proprietary web-based WebSentry allows contractors, Seresco factory engineers, and building owners to check daily on more than 120 dehumidifier operating parameters via smartphone or web browser 24-7.
