2012 APSP summit to focus on consumer research

This year’s Association of Pool & Spa Professionals’ (APSP’s) industry summit will focus on more than a year’s worth of consumer research commissioned specifically for the pool and hot tub industry.

The summit’s theme, ‘Making Today’s Consumer Tomorrow’s Customer,” looks to bring a number of industry CEOs and senior-level decision makers together for the chance to network with peers to discuss the most substantive topics affecting the industry and to share solutions for shaping its future. Nationally recognized speakers on consumer research and business trends are slated for both days of the summit, which will be held Aug. 14-15 at the Hilton Rosemont Hotel in Chicago, Ill.

“The APSP is pleased to offer industry decision-makers a place to learn about the latest consumer research and how to apply best practices in a practical, economic way,” says Bill Weber, APSP president and CEO. “Traditionally, industry summit attendees represent more than 75 per cent of the industry buying power, and this year’s summit is on track to exceed that.”
