ACPQ offers free entry to 2017 Salon Splash

L’Association des commerçants de piscines du Québec (ACPQ) is offering free entrance to the 2017 Salon Splash show to those who register online by Oct. 30.

The 25th edition of Salon Splash, the Québec pool and spa industry’s annual trade show, is set to take place at the Place Forzani in Laval next month.

The event, which is organized by L’Association des commerçants de piscines du Québec (ACPQ)[2], will be held on Nov. 16. The ACPQ expects the show to attract more than 350 industry professionals who will walk the aisles and attend expo seminars to learn more about the latest technologies, product innovations, and best practices. The show floor will also feature booths for the ‘2017 Favourite New Product’ and ‘2018 Novelty of the Year’ awards, which attendees will vote for the best product in each category. Product entries for these awards must be submitted by Oct. 29. To enter a product, fill out the nomination form here[3].

The 19th gala evening, which will take place in the evening, shortly after the show, will be held at the Sheraton Laval where association members will be recognized. The ‘Win Your Pool or Spa’ contest, the businesses and professionals nominated for the ‘Retailer,’ ‘Vendor,’ ‘Installer,’ and ‘Supplier of the Year’ awards, as well as the nominees for the ‘Home Pool and Spa Safety Retailer of the Year,’ will be also be awarded. The winners of the ACPQ’s ‘Pool and Spa Achievements of the Year’ will also be announced during the gala evening. Three finalists will be selected by a committee in the following seven categories: inground pools 60,000 L (15,850 gal) or less; inground pools 61,000 L (16,114 gal) or more; above-ground pools; commercial water installations; renovation projects; mechanical rooms; and spas. The awards ceremony will be followed by a performance by Lipstick Rodeo, a female sextet that skillfully blends country and southern rock in an eclectic infusion.

The ACPQ is offering free entry to the show to members. Non-members who register for the show before Oct. 30 can also attend for free. To register online, click here[6]. After the registration deadline, the cost to attend the show is $20 for retailers and $50 for manufacturers, distributors, and other visitors.
