The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) and The Swimming Pool & Spa Association of Australia (SPASA Australia) have formed a collaborative affiliation, which will benefit both organizations and their members in the sharing of ideas and knowledge relating to education, industry best practice, advocacy, and research.
“It’s an exciting time to be looking beyond our borders to collaborate with likeminded associations, to share skills and provide benefits and efficiencies to our members,” says Lindsay McGrath, SPASA’s CEO. “Distance is not a significant barrier when we have similar strategic goals, which is to promote our industries and create happier and healthier people by swimming in more pools more often.”
APSP’s president and CEO, Rich Gottwald says they, too, are excited about collaborating with SPASA on a number of initiatives.
“With shared common goals to professionalize and protect the pool and hot tub industry, we are embarking on a new path toward collaboration that can strengthen both memberships and provide consistency for companies doing business not only in Australia and the U.S., but globally as well.”
