Latham Pool Products, S.R. Smith, and Lonza have renewed their strategic partner sponsorships with the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) for 2015.

The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) has renewed three separate strategic partner sponsorships with Latham Pool Products, S.R. Smith, and Lonza all signing on for 2015.

Latham has been a top-level sponsor since the association started the program in 2010, while this is the fourth consecutive year for S.R. Smith and the second for Lonza.

Benefits of the sponsorship include: additional recognition as a supporting sponsor for all APSP events and programs, the opportunity to include company materials in event participant package, two e-mails sent to members, use of event participant list for mailings, sponsorship badge ribbons for all personnel at trade shows; and a three-month tile ad on the association’s website.

“We fully support the APSP in its efforts to promote consumer safety awareness and enhance the business success of their members,” said Latham’s president and CEO, Mark Laven. “We believe we have a responsibility to aid the APSP in the education and elevation of the industry’s business professionals.”

S.R. Smith has also been a big supporter of the association and the industry. The company’s president and CEO, Rich Laitta said one of the reasons the company continued its active support is because the aquatics industry faces ongoing challenges where APSP advocacy can help ensure the industry’s position is accurately represented.

Lonza is also committed to the aquatics industry, said April Nielsen, the company’s national account manager, and the company’s corporate sponsorship is a direct reflection of the desire to support industry partners in every aspect of their business.

“We have been honoured to be a part of the major transformation that has occurred at APSP over the past two years, including grassroots growth at the local chapter level, consumer outreach efforts, as well as nurturing the next generation with the WAVE Young Professionals Network,” said Nielsen. “We commend APSP’s strategy and initiatives to promote a sustainable future for the industry.”

The APSP sponsorship program includes a variety of levels for corporations to help support the mission of the association. For more information on this program, click here[2].
