Aquatherm earns ISO registration

After recently earning Canadian Standards Association International (CSA International) approval, Aquatherm Industries has achieved International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 registration.

Aquatherm Industries, a manufacturer of solar pool heaters in Lakewood, N.J., recently became the first U.S. solar collector manufacturer to achieve International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 registration.

Dave Sizelove, Aquatherm’s president and CEO, says this voluntary achievement confirms the company’s commitment to quality-of-service standards by letting its clients know the company adheres to documented processes and procedures that ensure ongoing improvements in delivering global customer support. The company’s strict compliance with other quality standards, including the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO), National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) and Canadian Standards Association International (CSA International) helped fast-track the auditing process.

“It is our understanding that Aquatherm is now the first U.S. solar collector manufacturer to become part of this elite group of companies,” Sizelove said. “This certification is a huge step in the direction to not only meet, but exceed our customer’s expectations.”

This announcement follows the recent approval of the company’s Solar Industries and Ecosun Solar pool heating systems by CSA International (PSM Online, June 9).
