Balboa Water Group (BWG), a supplier of products to the portable spa industry, has added to its portfolio with the recent acquisition of Whirlfit® Bath Products.
The purchase expands the company’s product line and enables it to offer a line of jets and fittings, which use a connection system that is easy to install and does not require any glue.
“The Whirlfit® components will provide time and cost savings to manufacturers while at the same time, reducing the carbon footprint by eliminating glues and solvents,” said the company’s marketing manager Bob Spillar. “With these new jets, we have expanded our one stop single source for bathing systems including specialized jets, controls, and the supporting white goods.”
This acquisition complements Balboa’s 2009 purchase of Pentair Aquatics’ bath division, HydroAir,® consumer electronics and GG Industries.
