A Beachcomber Hot Tubs retailer in Cranbrook, B.C., was the recent recipient of the hot tub manufacturer’s 2013 Tethys Award of Excellence, which was presented during the company’s annual training workshops earlier this year.

The award is presented to Beachcomber retailers that perform above and beyond expectations and this year’s recipient has been a longstanding Beachcomber retailer in the manufacturers network of stores.

“This store is recognized for their excellent sales, outstanding customer support, and following the Beachcomber methods and programs to maximize their success,” said Beachcomber’s vice-president of sales and growth, Craig Lundman. “They exemplify the best in looking after current customers, generating referrals, and attracting new business.”

Other award recipients included the following retailers Cranbrook, B.C. (Unique Super Centre); Grande Prairie, Alta (Unique Centre); Saskatoon (Metro Centre); Prince George, B.C. (Urban Centre); and Edmonton (Urban Super Centre).

The company’s 2014 training program, called New Horizons, was held in Vancouver and allows retail store owners and staff to meet with Beachcomber’s in-house trainers for three days of specialized training, motivation, and instruction on the current year’s hot tub product and sales programs. This year a special focus was placed on using new financial tools and marketing technology to help promote the quality and benefits of a Beachcomber hot tub for the whole family.
