Planning has started for the Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada’s (PHTCC’s) Canadian Pool & Spa Conference & Expo with the association’s recent call for presentations.
This year’s show is scheduled to take place at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ont., from Nov. 30 to Dec. 3. According to Rob Wood, PHTCC executive director, the show has traditionally drawn more than 2000 attendees, including representatives of major manufacturers, retailers, dealers, and builders from across North America.
After a successful expansion of the seminar offerings at the 2014 show, the PHTCC looks to build on the conference’s educational program by providing a series of informative training sessions and courses that supports the technical advancement of the industry. Those companies or individuals interested in sharing their wealth of knowledge are asked to submit a brief description of their proposed presentation by filling out a form and submitting it to Wood via e-mail at rwood@poolcouncil.ca by Feb. 27.
The PHTCC will give practical, hands-on workshops the highest consideration. Presentations on topics that are generic in nature, rather than proprietary to specific products and/or procedures are also preferred. All submissions will be evaluated by the PHTCC’s education committee based on perceived suitability and relevance to the program as well as the potential range of application.
