Tomorrow is the deadline for the Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada’s (PHTCC’s) call for seminar presentations for the 2014 Canadian Pool & Spa Conference & Expo.
Each year a number of informative seminars and courses are offered through the show’s educational program to support the technical advancement of the industry. To this end, the PHTCC is looking for various industry experts who are interested in presenting seminars at this year’s show, which is returning to the Toronto Congress Centre (Dec. 1-4).
Seminar topics should be based on new technologies that have been introduced to the Canadian pool and spa sector. According to the Council, practical, hands-on workshops will be given the highest consideration as it is seeking presentations on topics that are generic in nature, rather than proprietary to specific products and/or procedures. All submissions will be evaluated by the PHTCC’s education committee based on perceived suitability and relevance to the program as well as the potential range of application.
Those companies or individuals interested in submitting a brief description of their proposed presentation are asked to submit it to Robert Wood, the PHTCC’s executive director, via e-mail at rwood@poolcouncil.ca[2] by Feb. 28.
