The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) has put together a full slate of educational training courses to provide recognized certification for those in the pool/spa industry.

The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) has put together a full slate of educational training courses to help members enhance their skills sets and to provide recognized certification for those in the pool/spa industry.The APSP is recognized by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to develop and promote national standards for swimming pools and hot tubs, and its course offerings are suited to those seeking to align practical skills with technical knowledge and application.

“We know through APSP consumer research that people want to deal with professionals, and today’s economy has brought new focus to our leading companies,” said the APSP’s director of professional development, Michael Reed. “Our research indicates that certification has never been more important for ensuring employees are operating as effectively and efficiently as possible.”

The association is offering various training programs for ‘Pool & Spa Construction’ (PSCC), ‘Certified Service Technician’ (CST), ‘Certified Maintenance Specialist’ (CMS), ‘Certified Hot Tub Technician’ (CHTT), CBP Certified Building Professional,® and CSP Certified Service Professional.®
