Empex helps redesign waterpark at hotel resort in Greece
Empex Watertoys, a manufacturer of interactive aquatic playgrounds and sprayparks in Toronto, was involved in the redesign of the children’s water play area at the Cronwell Platamon Resort in Greece.

The Cronwell Platamon Resort in Greece recently introduced a redesigned children’s water play area using waterpark equipment from Toronto-based Empex Watertoys.

According to Empex, the waterpark, which was integrated into the existing pool layouts, includes a number of interactive water play features, including static water structures to enhance its architectural appeal.

In addition to these features, the company included a number of water cannons, rocking toys and ‘kiddie’ slides to make the waterpark accessible for children up to 12. One of the park’s unique features enables children to take control of different spray features by completing actions such as spinning a wheel or turning a water rotor. Other features include interactive ground jets and apparatuses which fill with water and suddenly tip, splashing water onto bathers.

Finally, to increase the time available for water play, colourful programmed ground lights were added to make the area accessible at night. The resulting lightshow also added a new level of entertainment to the resort.
