For the second year in a row, Evosus employees tackled various obstacles and treacherous terrain in the ‘Warrior Dash’ to help raise more than $52,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Unlike a typical obstacle race, this competition prides itself on making participants run through long stretches of mud in the ‘Mud Mounds’ and ‘Muddy Mayhem’ obstacles as well as face various other hurdles, including leaping over fire in the ‘Warrior Roast’ and ascending barriers such as the ‘Great Warrior Wall,’ and ‘Cargo Climb.’
Nearly 8,000 people competed in the event; the Evosus team included: Curt Germundson (CEO), Adrian Amposta (support specialist), and Christina Braks (vice-president of software products) among others.
To date, Warrior Dash races in the United States have raised more than $9 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Last year, the Ontario event raised more than $172,000 for SickKids® Hospital.
