In response to the popularity of unique backyard gathering areas, Thursday Pools has created a fibreglass pool with an integral living space.
This idea first came about when the company’s innovation team saw a sunken living area in the backyard of a home in the mansion section of the Wall Street Journal. After seeing it, Thursday Pools went from a concept idea to an installed product in just over two years.
The idea of incorporating a dry, sunken living room as part of the pool was a complicated process—especially since different inserts and moulds were created for a variety of options, including a built-in-spa, a driving range, or a stand-up bar. Paradise Pools in Cleveland, Ohio, was Thursday Pools first dealer to install one of the company’s fiberglass pools with a sunken living area.
