Frank J. Borrelle III (front row, third from right), president of the Northeast Spa & Pool Association (NESPA), has passed away at 64.

Frank J. Borrelle III, president of the Northeast Spa & Pool Association (NESPA) in New Jersey, passed away suddenly on March 1. He was 64.

He started his career volunteering for the association more than 12 years ago as an alternate member of the board of directors representing the Penn Jersey Chapter. He later moved up to a permanent director position where he served for more than eight years. Borrelle was elected secretary of NESPA in 2012 and advanced through all the leadership chairs and ultimately was elected president in September 2015. He was awarded with a 40-year member pin in the NESPA Quarter Century Club last year.

After serving in the Air Force with a tour of duty in Vietnam, Borrelle worked in the pool and spa industry for his entire professional career.

He is survived by his wife Janice of 41 years, parents Frank J. Jr., and Rose Borrelle, three children and 11 grandchildren.
