This 2015 International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo’s (IPSPE’s) comprehensive conference and expo, which is taking place Nov. 7 to 12 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in in Las Vegas, Nev., will once again be highlighted by the Genesis educational program.
As part of the conference’s core educational program, Genesis instructors will present 20 seminars covering all aspects of pool, spa, and watershape drawing, design, architecture, and construction.
The programs—created to guide students toward higher standards of excellence—are categorized into four groups: design, engineering, construction, and business, with a matrix that helps define a progression from introductory to advanced subjects, as well as prerequisites.
Many of the sessions are multi-day programs, which qualify under the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) standard, which allow attendees to earn continuing education units (CEUs).
To attend any of these courses, which are part of the Genesis University, registration [2]is required.
“As we approach the 17th anniversary of Genesis and pause to look back on where we have been, what we are doing now, and where we are headed, the impact it has had on all of our individual careers is self-evident,” says Brian Van Bower, Genesis president and co-founder. “Speaking as a student of the Genesis courses, rather than as the president, I can honestly say that my body of work has improved tremendously with the help of the many courses I, and my team members, have attended.”
