Hayward acquires majority interest in Clevaquip

Hayward Industries’ recent acquisition of majority interest in Clevaquip Pty., Ltd., a large distributor of swimming pool products in Melbourne, Australia, supports the company’s strategic development plan for the Asia/Pacific region.

Hayward Industries, a manufacturer of swimming pool and flow control products in Elizabeth, N.J., has strengthened its position in the Asia/Pacific market after acquiring a majority interest in Clevaquip Pty. Ltd., a large swimming pool products distributor based in Melbourne, Australia.

Officials with Hayward say leveraging the company’s global business resources with Clevaquip’s relationships and knowledge of the Australian market will provide leadership products and enhanced service to dealers and pool owners in the region.
