Highbury Pools raffles off ATV at Canadian pool show

Darren and Craig Draper of Aqua Blue (Niagara) Ltd., a family-owned and operated pool and spa/hot tub company in Welland, Ont., were the winners of an Arctic Cat Alterra 400 ATV in a draw held by Highbury Pools’ during the recent Canadian Pool & Spa Conference & Expo.

Highbury Pools, a manufacturer of inground and onground galvanized steel walls, aluminum coping, liners, and inground stairs in Arva, Ont., ran the contest not only to generate leads while at the show, but to also to give back to their dealers.

“This was a really good year for the pool industry. At the same time, this was an extremely exhausting year for those working in the heat,” said the company’s co-owner, Brian Jewell. “With that in mind, we pondered over how we can give back to the pool industry. Most of our dealers love their toys in the off-season; therefore, we narrowed down our options to either a snowmobile or an ATV.”

The draw was limited to one entrant per company and the winner was selected from approximately 100 contestants.
