Organizers of Interbad, the 23rd international trade fair for swimming pools, saunas, and spas, with congress for pool and bath technology, are expecting almost 500 exhibiting companies at this year’s show, which is being held in Stuttgart, Germany, Oct. 9 to 12.The four-day show will present new products and trends to visitors from both home and abroad and present the opportunity to exchange information and ideas with other industry experts in the diverse congress and framework of the conference.

In addition to product innovations, the show will also focus on current trends, including ‘natural open-air pools,’ ‘green pools,’ and ‘corporate health management.’

The natural open-air pools theme will be presented in a special area, where for the first time the German Society for Natural Bathing Water (DGfnB) will discuss natural public pools and biological cleaning/sanitation, while the green pool theme will focus on the increasingly important role in the planning and operation of pools, baths, and wellness facilities. The show, together with the European Waterpark Association (EWA), will discuss the future trend of sustainability in various facets, including architecture, construction methods, and innovative materials.

Finally, the corporate health theme will also be presented in a special area. Here, exhibitors such as health insurance companies, service providers for workplace health promotion, and companies which implement corporate health management, will present themselves to show employers how they can invest in health care over the long-term, thus reducing sick days in their own company, and how skilled workers can become qualified for corporate health management.

Interbad, which takes place every two years, is organized jointly by Messe Stuttgart and the German Association for the Recreational and Medicinal Bath Industry.
