IPSPE moving to The Big Easy in 2012

After four years in Las Vegas, Nev., organizers of the Int’l Pool | Spa | Patio Expo (IPSPE) are moving the show back to New Orleans, La., in 2012.

The 2012 Int’l Pool | Spa | Patio Expo (IPSPE) is returning to New Orleans, La., after four consecutive shows in Las Vegas, Nev.While researching the best possible location for the expo—one that would promote expansion and meet the needs of the pool and spa industry—Hanley Wood Exhibitions, the show’s organizer, found attendees and exhibitors in favour of moving the event back to New Orleans.

“Las Vegas is definitely one of the top destinations for trade shows and is still the top ranked city among our entire audience for a West Coast location,” said Lindsay Roberts, expo director. “However, we feel it is critical to rotate the event geographically and New Orleans was the top choice for the Southern region, as it is more centrally located to pull attendees from the South, Midwest, Northeast and the Mid-Atlantic states.”

The show will take place Nov. 6 to 8 at the Morial Convention Center. Built on some of the highest ground in New Orleans, the facility experienced minimal damage when Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast region in August 2005.

In addition to showcasing the latest products, materials and equipment relevant to the industry, the 2012 show will debut a new ‘Commercial Pavilion,’ which will host vendor presentations, product displays and exhibit booths targeted to professionals who design, build, maintain and manage commercial pools.
