Landscape Ontario’s Expo, formerly the Garden and Floral Expo, is set to unveil an updated look and new concepts developed to maximize customer-merchandise contact at this year’s show.
In addition to the name change and updated atmosphere, the show also has new dates and hours—Wed., Oct. 19 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Thurs., Oct. 20 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
One of the biggest changes exhibitors and attendees will notice, however, is the move to the Toronto Congress Centre’s north building (halls H and I). The new location not only provides an improved setting for the show, but also for seminars and social events. Its design, combined with enhanced lighting features, will allow exhibitors to display their merchandise in a unique manner. The intent is to inspire attendees to use some of the same merchandising concepts in their stores.
“To maximize return on investment, we’ve spent lots of time trying to understand what our customers value and then work hard to effectively deliver more than expected,” said Lorraine Ivanoff, Expo show manager. “Like our customers, we’re in the business of creating extraordinary experiences. When customers come to Expo, we want them to see what makes a visual impact. And we demonstrate that visual displays do more than attract attention—they can boost sales.”
