To celebrate its longstanding sponsorship of the Make-A-Wish® program, Marquis® dealerships in Canada and the U.S. are making April ‘Spirit of a Wish’ month.
This special celebration culminates with World Wish Day on April 29, and celebrates the day Chris Greicius received his wish to be a police officer for a day, inspiring the founding of Make-A-Wish and the global wish granting movement.
“Make-A-Wish is a fantastic, caring organization with an impact on a global scale,” said Marquis’ president John Schrenk. “We feel honoured to have been their hot tub partner for 14 years now. It’s rewarding to see our spas not only provide therapeutic benefits, but also create a wonderful retreat for these wish children and their families.”
Over the course of the 14 years, the portable hot tub manufacturer has helped grant more than 550 wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. To help celebrate this relationship, and to give Make-A-Wish some added support, Marquis is donating $100 (from select spa sales) to the program.
“We are so fortunate to count Marquis as a long-time sponsor of Make-A-Wish and a tremendous supporter of our wish kids,” said Make-A-Wish® Canada CEO, Jennifer Ritter. “The Spirit of a Wish month is another testament to Marquis’ commitment to helping us grant more wishes every year and changing lives, forever.”
