Plans are in place to build an indoor waterpark-themed resort in Sainte-Adéle, Que. According to developers, the park will open in September 2016.

Residents in Sainte-Adèle, Que., approximately 70 km (43.5 miles) northwest of Montreal, will see a new indoor waterpark-themed resort open in 2016.

Based on the increasing preference for family-oriented and proximity-based resort destinations, the La Rolland project, which is being developed by Jamco Ventures, will encompass 84 ha (207.5 acre) of land. According to a report by InterPark, a magazine for theme parks, the resort will offer 60,000 m2 (645,834 sf) of accommodations for short stays and 24,000 m2 (258,333 sf) of facilities dedicated to the indoor waterpark, leisure and sports activities, and catering.

M2Leisure, which will oversee the development and operations of the project, plans to include 800 units for overnight accommodations to provide visitors the option to plan for short breaks and/or holidays at the park. The resort, which will be open year-round, will also feature a three-pavilion village centre, where the indoor waterpark will be located along with shopping outlets and restaurants.
