Fresh off the heels of its recent acquisition of SeaKlear’s assets, Natural Chemistry L.P., a manufacturer of specialty pool and hot tub chemicals is changing its U.S. corporate name to NC Brands L.P. The name of the Canadian company will remain Natural Chemistry Canada Inc.
According to the company, the new name works as an umbrella for its expanding line of products for the pool and hot tub industry. Individual brand identities will remain the same under the new parent company name, while the combination of Natural Chemistry and SeaKlear water treatment products gives customers a choice between two brands in the specialty chemical category.
“As a company with more than 25 years of experience in recreational water, we are committed to delivering products that will change pool and hot tub care for the better,” says the company’s CEO, Mark Munford. “The new corporate name, NC Brands, provides a platform for the next step in our company’s growth.”
Kate Thielscher, president of NC Brands, agrees and says it is the ideal time for the name change as it reflects the company’s expansion.
Having added two new product lines to our portfolio over the past year—SeaKlear and Red Leopard—the name change removes category limitations and better positions the company for future growth, adds Thielscher.
