2021 National Water Safety Conference to be an online event

Given the unpredictable and extended nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA) has moved the 2021 National Water Safety Conference (NWSC) to an online delivery format.

The 2021 conference will run from March 29 to April 1. According to a NDPA statement, officials believe it is the best decision for attendees, speakers, sponsors, and the organization. By making this decision now, it allows the conference team more than five months to plan and organize the event.

“You can be assured our conference team will deliver a virtual conference experience second to none,” the statement reads.

NWSC 2021 highlights include:

• More than 60 educational sessions, trainings, and workshops
• A full day of the conference focused on the U.S. National Water Safety Action Plan
• Multiple live keynotes, general session speakers, and panel discussions, including one with government officials, politicians, and policy makers on drowning prevention legislation and advocacy.
• Numerous interactive networking events to expand one’s professional network in water safety.
• A redesigned interactive exhibit hall allowing more meaningful communications and connections with sponsors and exhibitors.
