New fibreglass manufacturing facility expected to create 200 jobs

Leisure Pools and Spas North American Inc., has announced a $6.1 million investment in a planned manufacturing facility in South Carolina, expected to create 200 new jobs.

Leisure Pools and Spas North America Inc., a leading fibreglass inground pool manufacturer, has announced plans to establish operations in Marion County, S.C.

According to the company, the $6.1 million investment will create 200 new jobs.

Founded in 2000, Leisure Pools and Spas North America Inc., installs fibreglass inground swimming pools, fibreglass plunge pools, fibreglass lap pools and water features. The company has operations in Canada, the U.S, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

The company’s new facility will specialize in composite swimming pools, underground fuel tanks, water storage tanks, computer numerical control (CNC) robotic moulding, and other related tools.

The new facility is expected to be online by the fourth quarter of 2020.
