Prince Albert will soon get a 4,738 m2 (51,000 sf) aquatic and arena recreation centre.

Per a report by CTV News Saskatoon[2], the aquatic centre features a 25 m (82 ft), eight-lane competition pool with starter blocks and diving boards.

All swim areas except for the waterslides are accessible. A pool lift will be installed in the competition pool.

Additionally, the facility also features a lazy river and wave pool, splash pad, hot tub, and two waterslides.

Lifeguard stations and change rooms line one side of the aquatic centre, while there is space for up to 200 spectators along the competition pool.

The completion of the project is forecasted to be done by the end of 2024 or early 2025.
