A 14-ha (35-acre) surf and adventure park named Cannon Beach Surf and Adventure Park is coming to McKinney, Tex.
The project will include a 1.6-ha (4-acre) surf lagoon, a resort-style hotel with a rooftop pool, event and wedding spaces, and a pristine sandy beach.
The hotel will feature lounge areas and cabanas with food service and will connect to the surf lagoon and a host of water-focused attractions, including cliff diving and a stationary surf wave.
Additionally, the project plans to deliver 9,290 m2 (100,000 sf) of office space, positioning itself as a hub for talent and innovation.
Construction is set to begin this year, with an open date projected to be sometime in 2026.
Cannon Beach is estimated to generate 700 local jobs and attract as many as 300,000 visitors annually.
