Shipping container repurposed into an outdoor pool

La Piscinette in Downtown Montreal is a new outdoor pool that was formerly a shipping container.

This type of pool, which has a wooden structure, is easy to install, export, and move; it is also cost-effective. It has a capacity of 20 people.

Per a report by Global News[2], La Piscinette is located in an area of the city that is strongly affected by the heat island effect.

This project will serve as a pilot for the city.
