America’s Swimming Pool Company (ASP), a swimming pool service franchise with more than 360 locations, has launched its construction division.
ASP can now provide a full spectrum of pool construction services, including the construction of inground concrete, vinyl, as well as fibreglass pools, luxury pools, and outdoor features.
This expansion responds to the surging demand for residential pools and hot tubs, with the Pool and Hot Tub Association (PHTA) reporting a 2020 record of 96,000 new residential inground pools constructed—the highest in more than a decade.
ASP franchise owners find that construction and related services are major revenue opportunities for their businesses. This is in part due to the size and scope of these projects, as well as the frequency at which consumers are requesting the service.
“Our ASP locations that offer construction and renovation services are seeing their business boom with requests for popular additions like strip lighting installation in pools, recessed firepits, water bowls, and fire bowls,” says Shaun Hurley, ASP’s director of renovation and construction.
