NSPF app to assist service professionals

The National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF) has developed a new mobile pool service manager application for service professionals.

The National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF) in Colorado Springs, Col., has developed a new mobile pool service manager application designed to allow service professionals to better handle their businesses.

Among other functions, the app lets service professionals using Apple’s iPhone or iPad platforms to schedule and record services, repairs and chemical test results (e.g. calculate and record water balance, chemical dosage, volume and flow rates); create and e-mail shopping lists to make supply pickups more efficient; share work history and billing information with a main office; and schedule recurring visits.

“Running a service business is hard work,” said Alex Antoniou, director of education at NSPF. “This app is the perfect tool to make their jobs easier and more profitable.”

Service companies can download a free trial version to devices that have upgraded to an iOS 5.0 or later operating system. Those who purchase the app will also receive ‘NSPF Digital News,’ to keep them up to date on emerging issues and solutions.
