Aquionics Industrial, a manufacturer of ultraviolet (UV) technology in Charlotte, NC, has appointed Gustavo Basurto as a new sales manager to strengthen the support of its expanding Latin American market. He will be responsible for providing efficient and reliable water disinfection, dechlorination, and deozonation solutions across a wide range of applications. He has extensive experience in the water sanitation sector through sales of rapid hygiene and microbiological testing technology, and was most recently in a sales management position with Danaher-RyE Mex. He will be based in Mexico City and will oversee the sale of the company’s technology within the industrial, aquatic, and municipal water sectors.
Chad Piteau has joined Leisure Manufacturing’s (Sunrise Spas & Dream Maker Spas) Canadian dealer development team to help develop the company’s existing dealers in Ontario through high quality and consistent sales, marketing, and business training. He has more than 25 years of pool and spa retail ownership, corporate management, and dealer development experience. Over his career, Piteau has helped grow pool and spa retail stores in small and large cities across the country. During his time as a corporate retail director with one of Canada’s largest pool and spa retailers, Piteau’s experience and credentials will allow him to coach the company’s retailers on what it takes to grow and manage a business in today’s competitive and digital landscape.
