The Swimming Pool Retail Academy’s online training course titled ‘How Pools Operate,’ has been endorsed by the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals for its continuing educational value.

The Swimming Pool Retail Academy’s online basic training course titled ‘How Pools Operate’ was recently accredited by the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) for its continuing educational value.The full-day course offers six online interactive lessons covering basic information on pool operations including, pool types, circulation, filtration, cleaning, testing, and chemistry. Each lesson contains self-guided activity worksheets to perform in the store environment, a comprehensive glossary, digital note cards for review, a final exam, and a certificate of completion.

“Our training course is designed to help every employee reach a basic knowledge threshold quickly, so they can become trusted, credible source of information to attract and maintain loyal customers,” explains Larry Bloom, co-founder of Swimming Pool Retail Academy.

Pool dealers and their employees can complete the online courses at their convenience, outside of store hours. Further, those who complete the course will receive five continuing education credit hours from the APSP. The credit also applies to any student who has previously completed the training.
