PHTCC introduces its 2012 board of directors

Members of the Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada (PHTCC) wrapped up the 2011 fiscal year at its annual general meeting (AGM), which was held this month during the Canadian Pool & Spa Conference & Expo in Niagara Falls, Ont.

The meeting convened on the evening of Dec. 6 and was held in conjunction with the President’s Reception. More than 60 members were on hand to ratify the 2011-12 budget, show appreciation to the board of directors for their efforts over the past year, as well as to welcome in the new chapter presidents, including: Rodney Taylor (Alberta); Kara Redden (Atlantic); Emmett DeAngelis (central Ontario); Randy McMullan (eastern Ontario); Elke Schmidt (Niagara); Steven Taylor (Toronto); Josh Randall (western Ontario); Marilyn Staneff (Quebec); Rob Pyrz (Prairies); Brian Pavia (B.C. central); and Steve Galbraith (B.C. island).

The PHTCC also recognized retiring board members Ted Eaton, Don Martens and Peter Kelly, while incoming president Rob Pagliaro presented a plaque to the outgoing Phil Bach, in recognition of his efforts during the preceding year. Brent Winnitoy was acclaimed vice-president.
