The annual ‘Winter Family Fun Day,’ hosted by the Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada’s (PHTCC’s) Toronto chapter, continues to grow each year as more members and their families participate.

The Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada’s (PHTCC’s) Toronto chapter recently hosted its annual ‘Winter Family Fun Day’ at Horseshoe Resort in Barrie, Ont., and despite temperatures being a little mild this year, a variety of winter activities were still available to all participants.

A total of 50 people attended the event, which included chapter members and their family. Those who attended received discounted rates to partake in a number of activities the resort had to offer, including tubing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, as well as $10 towards lunch.

“Every year we see a few more members participate in this fun event,” says the PHTCC’s show and sponsorship manager, Mette Yellowlees. “Horseshoe is the perfect venue for the whole family as it has something for everybody—you don’t have to be a skier or snowboarder.

“Members take this opportunity to bring their staff, customers, and families out for some fun in the snow and most return every year.”
