Arctic’s Pool and Spa heat pumps are industry leading for their ability to produce high BTU’s and a high COP at low outdoor temperatures. These units can heat pools or spas in outdoor temperatures down to -20C / -4F. They produce a 3.72 COP at 0C / 32F. This means that even when temperatures are freezing outside, Arctic SPA heat pumps are still more than 3.5x more efficient than an electric resistance pool or spa heater. This is unmatched in the industry.
In 2025, Arctic will be releasing an R32 version of our SPA heat pump. R32 is not only an environmentally friendly refrigerant, but it also allows for increased heat pump efficiency. Arctic’s R32 SPA heat pumps are more capable than previous models, with upgraded hardware for increased performance and reliability.
