Through the use of a series of strategically placed Scallops on the Pump Union Nut and Tailpiece, the Pump Union will Self-Lock when a firm amount of hand-tightened torque is applied, preventing loosening of the Nut during vibration of the pump. The Vibeproof™ feature is also available on Magic Plastics’ popular Smart Check® Valves, The Original Uni-Body Valves, Unions and our new High Heat Union Assemblies.
