ProSlide Technology Inc., a designer/manufacturer of water rides in Ottawa, has received the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions’ (IAAPA’s) ‘2013 Best New Water Ride’ award for its HydroMagnetic (HM) Tornado water coaster.
The winning ride combines two IAAPA impact award-winning technologies by combining them into a single ride path. It delivers an unparalleled ride experience by marrying the HydroMagnetic (HM) Mammoth,™ a linear induction motor (LIM)-powered water coaster with the zero G-force thrills offered by the six-person ProSlide Tornado.™
ProSlide’s HM Tornado debuted at Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi in early 2013 and was voted the best ride in the park by their guests.
