
The entire national sales team for Recreonics Inc., an international supplier of commercial swimming pool equipment, recently achieved re-certification through the Certified Pool/Spa Operator® (CPO®) program created by the National Swimming Pool Foundation® (NSPF®).
The sales team completed the course through the NSPF’s blended Fusion™ program, which allowed each participant to enroll in the non-profit organization’s Pool Operator Primer™ course online to successfully complete the one-day CPO certification classroom course and test.
“We believe it is important for our sales consultants to have the same high level of training as our customers, providing assurance our team has the depth of knowledge and background to effectively assist them in every way,” said Recreonics’ executive vice-president, Michael Garland.
“The average tenure of our sales team is over 20 years; for many of them, this is the fourth or fifth time they have been re‐certified,” he added. “Our greatest resource as a company is the knowledge base and dedication of our sales consultants.”
NSPF CEO Thomas M. Lachocki, PhD, added: “By earning a CPO certification, industry professionals gain exposure to a spectrum of issues and solutions to protect users and improve the aquatic experience.”
