Latham Group, Inc. joined forces with BrightAI to create Measure by Latham Pools—an AI-powered measurement technology that transforms how pool liners and covers are measured, manufactured, and installed.

No two pools are alike, so precise measurements are essential to a perfect fit. Yet, for decades, builders have relied on manual tape measurements and hand-drawn sketches, which are labour-intensive and vulnerable to errors. Even the slightest miscalculation can result in costly rework, production delays, and frustrated customers.

With every pool’s unique dimension and structural features, builders and manufacturers often verify them back and forth, slowing down the entire order-to-installation process.

The tool helps eliminate inefficiencies and brings AI-driven precision to pool measurement and manufacturing by sharing a vision of digitizing this process.

The system consists of:

  • M1 scanner equipped with lasers to capture precise pool dimensions and structural details
  • An iPad Air running the app for real-time data processing
  • A tripod for a stable, secure setup in the field

Once measurements are captured using laser scanning technology, the data is automatically uploaded to a builder management portal.

The system has already delivered significant performance improvements, making pool manufacturing faster, more precise, and more scalable.
